About the team
The Finance team at Veriff acts as a core strategic partner to the business, ensuring operational rigor, financial discipline, and scalable infrastructure. This is a standalone, high-visibility role reporting directly to our VP of Finance. You will partner cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, IT, and internal leaders across the globe to optimize our spend, safeguard contractual commitments, and build a world-class procurement ecosystem.
The opportunity
As our Senior Procurement Specialist, you will take end-to-end ownership of procurement at Veriff. We are transitioning our vendor and contract intake to Omnea, and we need an experienced commercial driver to streamline approvals, eliminate tool sprawl, audit contracts, and lead vendor negotiations. If you thrive on building transparent processes, negotiating commercial agreements, and maximizing every dollar invested, this role offers complete autonomy and direct company-wide impact.
What you'll achieve in your first 3 months
- Take full administrative ownership of Omnea, establishing clear intake and approval flows for all new supplier requests.
- Complete an audit of existing vendor contracts, mapping key terms, spend, renewal notice dates, and business owners into a central database.
- Draft and roll out our baseline Procurement Policy and internal guidelines across departments.
What you'll achieve by 6 months
- Deliver measurable cost savings and contract right-sizing across major upcoming renewals and new tool purchases.
- Run an efficient, reliable vendor onboarding cadence partnering seamlessly with Legal, Security, and Accounts Payable.
- Deploy executive-ready spend and savings dashboards to keep Finance leadership informed on renewals pipeline and supplier risk.
What you'll bring — essential
- 5+ years of dedicated procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management experience.
- Proven track record leading commercial contract negotiations (pricing, SLAs, terms) with quantifiable savings.
- Hands-on experience configuring or managing modern procurement/intake platforms (e.g., Omnea, Coupa, Zip) and contract repositories.
- Strong cross-functional partnership skills, particularly with Legal, Compliance, and Finance (FP&A/AP).
- Excellent English communication skills with the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience in high-growth SaaS, fintech, or tech environments.
- Knowledge of EU vendor compliance, data privacy considerations, or Telema systems.
- Flexibility to work from home
- Stock options that ensure your share in our success
- Extra recharge days on top of your annual vacation
- Extensive medical, dental, and vision insurance to ensure you’re feeling great physically and mentally
- Learning and Development & Health and Sports budget that you are free to tailor to your own needs
- Four weeks of fully paid sabbatical leave after reaching your 5th work anniversary
