Terms of service

1. The service

RolePond is a job board for product roles. We list jobs that employers post with us and jobs we collect from company careers pages, and we send job alerts to people who ask for them. By using the site you agree to these terms.

2. Browsing and applying

Browsing is free and needs no account. Applications go directly to the employer through the link or email address on the listing; we are not part of the application and do not see it. We do our best to keep listings accurate and current, but we cannot guarantee that a role is still open or that its details are complete.

3. Posting a job

When you post a listing you confirm that:

  • the role is real and you are allowed to advertise it for that employer;
  • the description and company details are accurate and not misleading;
  • the listing follows the employment and anti-discrimination law that applies to it;
  • you own, or have the right to use, the logo and text you upload.

We may take down a listing that breaks these rules, is not a product role, or looks like spam, and we may refuse future listings from the same source.

4. Payment, duration and refunds

Listings are paid for in advance by card through Stripe. A listing goes live once the payment is confirmed and stays live for the length of its plan: 30 days for Standard and 60 days for Premium. If the role is filled or withdrawn within seven days of posting, email us and we will refund the listing. After that, refunds are at our discretion. We refund in full if we take a listing down for reasons other than a breach of these terms.

5. Content and intellectual property

You keep the rights to the listings you post and give us permission to show them on the site, in feeds, in alert emails and on our social media accounts for as long as they are live. The design and code of RolePond belong to us. Company names and logos belong to their owners.

6. Liability

The site is provided as is. We are not responsible for hiring outcomes, for the content of listings written by employers or taken from careers pages, or for loss caused by the site being unavailable. Our total liability to you for anything arising from these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version, and the terms in force when you paid for a listing apply to that listing.
