1. What we collect

We collect only what the site needs to work:

  • When you post a job: the listing itself, your company details and the email address you give us for the receipt. Card details go to Stripe, our payment provider, and never reach our servers.
  • When you subscribe to job alerts: your email address and the categories, workplace types and regions you choose. You confirm the subscription by email and can unsubscribe from any message.
  • When you browse: standard server logs, and product analytics that tell us which pages, searches and filters are used and when someone clicks Apply. We do not build profiles of individual visitors.
  • When you contact us: your message and email address, so we can reply.

2. How we use it

  • To publish and run job listings and send receipts.
  • To send job alerts you asked for.
  • To answer questions and fix problems.
  • To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell personal data and we do not send marketing email you did not ask for.

3. Who we share it with

Only the services that run the site: Supabase (database and file storage), Netlify (hosting), Stripe (payments), our email provider for alerts and receipts, and our analytics provider. Each processes data on our behalf under its own terms. Company logos are fetched from Logo.dev using the company domain. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.

4. Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising cookies. Your browser keeps a few things locally so the site is easier to use: jobs you save, a draft of a listing you are writing, and an analytics identifier. Clearing your browser storage removes them.

5. How long we keep it

Listings and company details stay on the site after a listing expires so the company page keeps working; email us to have them removed. Alert subscriptions are deleted when you unsubscribe. Payment records are kept for as long as accounting rules require.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop sending you alerts. Email hello@rolepond.com and we will reply within a month.

7. Changes

When this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page.
